When life hands you mint, you make mint cocktails!

I recently bought fresh mint from the market and went about making a couple classic mint tipples. The first of which is the Southside. A refreshing mint and gin concoction with elusive origins. Simple and easy to make, have a try at home since we are all still here.

Southside

• 60ml Gin

• 30ml Lemon Juice

• 30ml Simple Syrup

• 5-8 Mint Leaves

Add the mint leaves and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker and muddle to release the mint oils. Add the gin, simple syrup, and ice. Shake well. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a mint leaf. Enjoy!
