Moscow Mule

A type of “buck”, cocktails made with ginger ale or beer, citrus, and liquor, it is one of the few vodka cocktails that I actually prefer. Super easy to make, this cocktail was used to sell Smirnoff Vodka around the United States making it a popular cocktail. Typically served in a copper mug, not only does it look dope, it also takes on the cold temperature of the liquid. Easy to make and great for crowds, you’ll be well equipped to make this cocktail for tomorrow’s festivities. Refreshing and simple, this will be a recipe to keep in your back pocket.

Remember here that even though the cocktail is a simple one to make, using better quality ingredients in the recipe will create a better quality drink. From the vodka, to the lime juice, and even to the ginger beer, compromising on any of these could make or break your Moscow Mule.

  • 60ml Vodka

  • 15ml Fresh Lime Juice

  • 90ml Ginger Beer/Ale

Combine the ingredients in a highball glass or Moscow Mule Mug over ice. Garnish with a healthy mint sprig(s) and lime wheel.
