One of the most famous Tiki drinks in the world, the Mai Tai is made of rum, orange liqueur, lime juice, and orgeat (almond). Often credited as a creation of Vic "Trader Vic" Bergeron back in the 1940s, it is said to have started roots in the Don the Beachcomber Bar over a decade earlier.

  • 45ml White Rum

  • 20ml Orange Curaçao

  • 20ml Lime Juice

  • 15ml Orgeat

  • 15ml Dark Rum

Combine the ingredients except the dark rum in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a glass over ice. Float the dark rum over the drink. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
